| Mochima / Orinoco Delta / Gran Sabana / Canaima |
This is a relatively short trip in time -but not so in fun and adventure- that shows you the best of Venezuela. In 15 days we include the best beaches, the best clubs and discos, excursions to the Orinoco River with its Warao Indians and its beautiful channels, The mystical lost world of Gran Sabana with the flat table mountains (Tepuis) and natural water slides and at last the famous Angel Falls which stands the tallest Fall in the world surrounded by a National park with Lagoons, smaller falls and cascades. This trip also gives you Insights of the South American culture and mentality and we can almost assure you that after this experience you will want to come back to Venezuela or South America for more! Programe 15 Days/14 Nights: Day 2: After breakfast we take a boat to visit the islands of the Mochima National Park. We have lunch in one of the islands, go snorkeling, we go by boat to see dolphins and enjoy some cocktails for the sunset in the boat and then we head back to the camp. Dinner is by the beach in real nice and inexpensive seafood restaurant; vegetarians and meat eaters can also find food here. BL Day 3: Take a leisure day in Santa Fe beach, lunch by the beach (there is the possibility of doing some water sports this day, including diving, water ski etc… all at extra cost. For example: a day of diving with two dives costs $70). After that nice day at the beach we go back to our camp where we get ready to go to Puerto la Cruz and Lecherias the neighbor towns where we will have dinner in a fine restaurant and then go for a proper night out in Nikki Beach which is the best beach discothèque in the country. B Day 5: We go out for a full day by boat visiting different Warao communities, we also take a walk in the jungle with a Warao Indian that we'll show us all there is to know about the different types of trees and plats from there, we also go spotting birds and any sort lot of wild life from the area, dinner at the camp and after we make a night excursion by boat to see alligators and nocturnal animals in the river channels. BLD Day 6: After breakfast we take the boat and go out for piranha fishing and after we try to ride in the Curiaras (which are the one tree canoes that the Indians use and that require a good sense of equilibrium). Lunch in the camp and then we head back to Boca de Uracoa where we meet our driver that's going to take us to Puerto Ordaz. BLD Day 8: Early morning we hit the beginning of La Gran Sabana and then we take the dirt road that takes us to Apponwao fall -105 Meters tall-. To get to the fall we take a boat along the river and then we walk to its base; the place is truly spectacular! On our way back from the Apponwao we will stop at different falls and cascades where we will have the chance to swim and relax. We come back to the village where we go in our 4x4 and then take the road to Kavanayen, a small Indian town where we will spend the night. BLD Day 9: After Breakfast we continue to Kawi meru which is a little Indian village with a beautiful fall and river close by; from this fall you could do amazing plunges -that if you dare-. Then we drive to several other falls, cascades and fun water slides of the area while going towards the South. Sleep in San Francisco de Yuruani, which is another Indian community. BLD Day 10: Continuing our way South we visit the Jasper Cascade, this is a beautiful cascade all cover in bright red Japer which is a semi precious stone of incredible beauty. We spend part of the day bathing here and sliding up and down the place. We continue with the drive to Santa Elena and pass the Brazilian border to La línea where we have lunch. Afternoo back to Santa Elena for dinner and sleep in Hotel Michelle. BL Day 13: After breakfast we take the boat down the river again back to Canaima Lake where we are taken to the airport, we take the flight back to Ciudad Bolivar. transfer back to Mochima National Park. Accommodation at Villa la Encantada. Dinner at the beach. BLD Day 15: Flight from Barcelona to Caracas on time to your International connection flight. B Sleeping 14 nights in: Transportation: Price: $1490 Included in the price: Not included: Requirements to come on this trip: Tips for this trip: -The best way of bringing money down here is through travel checks in dollars. -Have a scanned image of your passport and keep it in your email account in case you ever need it. -Venezuela is a nice place for shopping for clothes, souvenirs, handcrafts, rum and things like that. Make sure to have some space in your bag or an extra one to bring whatever you may want to buy -You can bring and donate secondhand clothes or shoes that
are in wearable conditions and they will be carefully distributed
in some
of the communities that we visit. Also small items like
pencils and markers and things like that will be nice gifts
for the
kids
in the
Indian villages that we visit. This is all up to you so
don't feel committed to it!

Day 4: After breakfast we drive down to the Orinoco
Delta. Arrival in Boca de Uracoa where we take a boat into the Delta
to the Orinoco
Delta Lodge. Excursion on the river until sunset. Dinner at the camp.
Day 7: We leave Puerto Ordaz early in the morning
where we start our trip to La Gran Sabana. We go through several villages
and towns along
the way including the mystical 'El Callao' where you find the biggest
gold mines in South America, we sleep in Kilómetro 88 in a local
camp. 
Day 11: Breakfast in the hotel and then transfer to the airport
for your flight to Canaima National Park. Visit the falls El
sapo y sapito
by boat (here you have a really nice and funny experience when going
behind the Sapo cascade, you will absolutely love it! We take walks
around the park, dinner and overnight in the Posada close to the
Canaima Lake. 
Day 12: Boat ride up the Carrao river on our way
to the great Angel Falls. When we reach our destination we take
a small
walk in the forest
right to the base of the Angel Fall. After that we head back to
our camp which stands right in front of the Fall. 
Day 14: Visit to town, souvenir shopping...
day to relax at your own discretion and at night we have a
fair well
party
in our camp with
a local band playing and a pool party with barbeque.
